Swaziland – Early Childhood Care and Education

June 2016

My first mission in #Swaziland devoted to situation analysis of the Country, on behalf of IBE-UNESCO..

A few pieces from my situation analysis Priorities identified: tackle poverty and vulnerability, starting from the children, investment in social system and social net, development of the education system, implementation of policies. Public primary education and health services are free of charge, but this is not the case for the pre-primary level. A milestone in the process of development of ECCE has been the ratification of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, in 1997.
